GBU Life Community Day at the Pittsburgh Zoo

Thank you to all who registered for GBU Community Day at the Zoo on July 24!

We still have a small amount of tickets left for sale but registration will close for good on Friday, July 16, 2021. Purchase your last minute tickets as soon as possible to ensure availability. 

Each ticket includes:
  • Access to all exhibits in the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium from 9:30 am-6:00 pm on the day of the event
  • $10 in Zoo Bucks per person to be used at a zoo food vendor of your choice
  • Exclusive access to the GBU Family Entertainment Tent (Face painting, magic tricks, and costume characters to engage your kids)
  • Free digital family photos to remember your day by
  • GBU gift
Items to note if you bought tickets:
  • You should receive your zoo package to the address you provided during registration no later than Saturday, July 17th. Included in the package will be your wristbands, Zoo Bucks ($10 in Zoo Bucks per ticket), and a program trifold. If you do not receive your package by July, 17, or if there is a problem with your order, please call Anna Meek at (412) 884-9814.
  • No "GBU check-in" is required upon admission on July 24. Since you will already have your tickets in-hand, you can just use the regular admission entrance for the zoo. 
  • To receive your free gift, you must visit the Garden Tent (GBU Entertainment Tent) between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. 
  • Feel free to come and visit the Garden Tent throughout the day as activities occur or if you need a place to relax. Refer to the program button below for a list of events and times.

Board Election GBU Financial Life’s national bylaws allow adult insured members (as defined in Article VI, Section 1 of the bylaws) the right to vote for the organization’s Board of Directors. Ballots will be mailed at the beginning of August 2026 to all eligible members. Eligible members may vote by paper ballot via mail or electronic ballot online once they receive their ballot. Cumulative voting or voting by proxy is not permitted.
