Spring Reset
Practical Tips to Organize For Your Well-Being
Spring has long been associated with renewal and new beginnings. While traditions like deep cleaning before major cultural celebrations date back centuries, the idea of “spring cleaning” has grown into an opportunity to refresh more
than just your home. This guide walks you through simple, practical ways to “spring clean” every corner of your life so you can enter the new season feeling refreshed and energized.

Revisit Your Goals
A 2023 poll from Forbes Health found that most people give up New Year’s resolutions in less than four months. This makes spring a perfect time to re-evaluate your resolutions and goals for the year. Set aside time to evaluate whether your goals and priorities are still aligned and develop new action strategies if needed.
Fine-Tune Your Routine
Are you spending your time the way you want to? Or do you feel like time is slipping away with more unfinished tasks piling onto your plate? Spring is a
great time to establish routines that foster relaxation and productivity, helping you start and end your days on the right note. Look for ways to make your daily
routine more efficient, such as meal-prepping ahead of time for more efficient mornings or reducing evening screen time to improve your sleep quality.
Introduce New Habits
Are your habits serving you, or holding you back? Take time to evaluate your current habits and whether they will help you reach your goals. Spring is a great time to introduce healthy habits into your life and let go of bad habits that hold you back. Focus on one habit at a time and use measurable goals to make it stick.

Set Financial Goals
What short-term and long-term financial goals do you have? Are you on track to save for any large purchases or retire on time? Set aside time to review how much you’re saving each month and whether you’re on track to meet any financial goals.
Review Your Monthly Expenses
With rising prices affecting most people’s bank accounts, it’s important to take a moment to check in on your monthly expenses. Keep an eye out for subscriptions you’re not using, services you may be overpaying for, and impulse purchases that may be having a surprising impact on your wallet.
Meet with a Financial Advisor
Take your financial spring cleaning a step further by meeting with a financial advisor. They’ll take a closer look at your finances and investments to ensure you’re on track to meet your goals while providing insight into new products and financial regulations. Deep Clean Winter Grime
Most of us have a regular cleaning routine, but busy schedules can lead to some areas being neglected. Dust neglected areas such as baseboards, clean
behind furniture and appliances, above cabinets, and other hard-to-reach places. Wash doors and windows to remove winter salt and grime, and high-touch spots such as doorknobs and cabinets.
Care for Your Appliances
Most household appliances require regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure they continue to work well into the future. Clean the inside of your oven to prevent buildup on heating elements. (Tip: avoid using the “self-clean” feature as the high temperatures can damage the oven and create harmful fumes.) Clean the filter on your dishwasher and washing machine for more effective wash cycles. Don’t forget to clean dryer screens and vents, as lint buildup over time can increase the risk of dryer fires.
Declutter Your Space
After the holiday season, spring is a great time to declutter your space. A clutter-free home not only looks nice, but studies show that more clutter can contribute to higher stress levels. Donate clothes that no longer fit and household items that aren’t being used, toss or recycle broken items and clothing that can’t be repaired, and designate a space for items frequently left out, such as incoming mail, outerwear, and children’s toys.

Declutter Your Devices
It’s not just a cluttered home that can cause increased stress. Free up space on your devices while making important files easier to find by deleting old and unnecessary files, apps, and photos. Don’t forget to back up your devices as well to protect irreplaceable files.
Clean Keyboards and Touch Screens
The average person touches their phone over 2,000 times a day, but when was the last time you cleaned it? It’s no secret that our phones can harbor bacteria,
and with frequent use, a thorough cleaning is likely overdue. Clean your phone, tablet, and computer screens with a microfiber cloth and a solution of 70% isopropyl alcohol to disinfect.
Improve Device Security
Take a moment to keep your devices secure by making sure they’re up to date. Update any old passwords, avoid using the same one repeatedly, and set up a password manager to create and manage secure passwords for multiple accounts.
