Estate Planning Made Simple with Law Assure

June 30, 2025

When it comes to planning for the future, there are few things more meaningful than knowing your legacy will make a lasting impact. At GBU, we’re proud to offer members the tools and resources needed to protect what matters most while also providing meaningful ways to give back. Two key ways to do just that? Estate planning with LawAssure and charitable giving through the GBU Foundation.

LawAssure and Estate Planning
Estate planning may sound overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. As a GBU member, you have complimentary access to LawAssure, a secure, online platform that helps you create personalized legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney and healthcare directives. These documents are essential in protecting your wishes and your loved ones, ensuring your affairs are handled the way you want them to be.

Whether you're just getting started or updating your existing plans, LawAssure offers easy-to-use templates and guidance tailored to your state’s legal requirements. It’s peace of mind without the price tag or complexity of traditional legal services.

Extend Your Impact Through the GBU Foundation

Once your estate plans are in place, it’s also worth considering how you might make a difference for generations to come. The GBU Foundation offers a powerful way to support causes that align with your values, including scholarships and community initiatives. A particularly meaningful option is to include a charitable gift to the Foundation in your estate plans through life insurance or annuities. This thoughtful approach allows you to support the people and causes you care about most.

Start Building Your Legacy Today

Combining Law Assure with charitable giving is a smart and heartfelt way to plan for the future. Whether you’re focused on protecting your family or giving back to your community (or both), GBU is here to support you every step of the way.
