A New Schedule for the Reporter

Jennifer Stockdale • January 3, 2022
Each month, we receive additional requests from members to receive a digital-only copy of The Reporter. For some members, it is easier to fit reading a digital copy into their schedule, and for many, the request comes from a desire to be more sustainable in their everyday lives. We also know, based on our 2021 member survey results, that a majority of you still enjoy receiving a hard copy of The Reporter and read it regularly.

It is with this feedback in mind, that GBU will change to a quarterly format for The Reporter for 2022. This new schedule will allow us to bring you seasonal, timely information, while saving more than 280 trees each year! It also allows our team to bring you interesting content between issues via The Reporter website and the GBU Life Member Community.

With the new format, if you are receiving a mailed copy of The Reporter, you will receive four issues per year in January (Winter), April (Spring), July (Summer) and October (Fall). If you subscribe digitally, you will receive one mailed copy per year with our annual Privacy Policy Notice as well as any additional issues that we are required by law to deliver of any notice, report or statement, including notice of election and all amendments to the Articles of Incorporation or bylaws of GBU. If you wish to receive these official-notice issues electronically as well, you can digitally opt-in by going to inside.gbu.org/digital-opt-in.

We are looking forward to reaching out to you each season with new and interesting content in 2022. We love producing each issue of The Reporter for you, and we hope that you enjoy reading it just as much!

Sincerely,

The Reporter Team

Every child can name a teacher who made a difference: the one who stayed late to help, offered encouragement at just the right moment or made learning feel exciting. Recognizing a teacher’s dedication doesn’t require grand gestures, but it does call for intention. Thoughtful appreciation gifts, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week or year-end celebrations, offer a tangible way to express heartfelt gratitude.
