Egg Roll Bowls

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions

Step 1: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute. Add pork, stirring occasionally until meat is thoroughly cooked, 8 to 10 minutes. Break meat into small pieces with spoon or spatula. 

Step 2: Move pork to the side and add sesame oil. Add onion, carrots and cabbage. Combine with meat, adding soy sauce and sriracha. Cook until cabbage is tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Season with salt.

Step 3: Place on a serving dish, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve.
