Are you looking for an awesome gift for your loved ones? These Mason-jar, chocolate chip cookies are a simple and delicious treat that anyone will love to receive. All you need to make this gift is a jar and baking ingredients. The person you gift this to will then add ¾ cup butter, an egg and ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract.

Ingredients you will need
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1½ cups (9 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Supplies you will need
- Quart-size Mason jar

To start, mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. After those are thoroughly combined, place them into the Mason jar. Pack this mixture down into an even level. Next, add the granulated sugar layer and pack it down into an even level and then add the brown sugar layer. Top off the jar with a layer of chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, combine ¾ cup of butter, an egg and
¾ teaspoon vanilla extract. Then, add the dry ingredients from Mason jar and mix well. Place on an ungreased baking pan and bake for 9 to 11 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool before enjoying!

We sat down with GBU Life Home Office agents Leah Teahl and Dominic Nicciai to learn about the benefits of an annual financial review and how you can get started.
Every child can name a teacher who made a difference: the one who stayed late to help, offered encouragement at just the right moment or made learning feel exciting. Recognizing a teacher’s dedication doesn’t require grand gestures, but it does call for intention. Thoughtful appreciation gifts, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week or year-end celebrations, offer a tangible way to express heartfelt gratitude.
