Get out the trusty window cleaner and paper towels to get rid of the pollen and debris on the outside of your windows, as well as the dust from the inside. Clean and streak-free windows are certainly something you want to show off so by opening those blinds and clearing the way, you can let the view do the talking. 

Before picking a plant, think about where you plan on placing it in your home. If it is going to be in a corner away from the window, make sure you buy something that can thrive in low light. If you plan on putting it near a window, you have a little bit more freedom to open up your home to something tropical like a Monstera plant. Placing your plant in a hemp basket that is a little larger than the pot it came in is a great alternative to purchasing a decorative pot. 

Buy a few colorful throw pillows to add a pop of color to your living room. Don’t be afraid to mix prints!
