How To Make Your Own Heart-Shaped Pizza

Prep Time
Prep: 20 minutes
Cook: 13-16 minutes
Total: 35 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients
  •  1 can of Pillsbury refrigerated classic or thin pizza crust
  •  1 can of pizza sauce
  •  24 slices of pepperoni (optional)
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Steps
  1. If using classic crust: Heat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray or grease large cookie sheet.
    If using
thin crust: Heat oven to 400 F. Spray or grease 15x10-inch or larger dark or nonstick cookie sheet.
  2. Unroll dough and cut the dough into 4 rectangles. Then place each rectangle onto the cookie sheet.
  3. Cut a 1-inch slit in center of wide edge of each rectangle.
  4. Then on the opposite wide edge across from slit, pinch dough together to form the point of the heart.
  5. Next, separate each cut slit and gently press dough into a heart shape. The heart should be around 6x5-inches.    Don't forget to create a slight rim on the edge of the dough.
  6. Refrigerate the molds for about 30 minutes or until completely set. Then gently remove the molds.
  7. Divide the pizza sauce evenly onto the hearts. Spreading the sauce within 1/2 inch of edges.
  8. Next, top each with 6 slices pepperoni and 3 tablespoons cheese.
  9. Lastly, its time to bake! For classic crust 13 to 16 minutes and for thin crust 9 to 13 minutes or until crust edges
are golden brown and cheese is melted. Then enjoy!

Every child can name a teacher who made a difference: the one who stayed late to help, offered encouragement at just the right moment or made learning feel exciting. Recognizing a teacher’s dedication doesn’t require grand gestures, but it does call for intention. Thoughtful appreciation gifts, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week or year-end celebrations, offer a tangible way to express heartfelt gratitude.
