Exploring Optimity

January 23, 2023

Start your fitness journey with the help of GBU's newest member benefit, Optimity. Optimity is an app-based platform that rewards you for making your fitness a priority. Whether it's taking a quiz to test your knowledge on the effects of sleep, to keeping your heart rate up, to simply choosing to take the steps instead of the elevator, rack up your points. See how you stack up against other GBU members while earning gift cards to your favorite retailers and brands.

Once you opt-in and receive a code, you can download the app and get started immediately. Creating your account is simple and only takes a few minutes.

You can stay as busy as you want with new activities and mini-courses every day. But if you don't have time to check in every day, that is okay too. Pick up right where you left off and earn points at your own pace. Optimity can be paired to your fitness wearable so you can stay even more in sync with your daily exercise.

New in 2023, GBU will be offering custom fitness challenges where you can earn even more points that will unlock your rewards even quicker. Winners for each monthly challenge will be posted in the following issue of The Reporter magazine. We will alert you through the app when a new custom challenge is posted.

"Optimity is a great app and easy to use. I've gotten into a nice routine of doing the activities daily. My favorite part is the rewards which add up quickly. There are great options like charitable donations and great gift cards."

GBU Life Member, Jon N.

Every child can name a teacher who made a difference: the one who stayed late to help, offered encouragement at just the right moment or made learning feel exciting. Recognizing a teacher’s dedication doesn’t require grand gestures, but it does call for intention. Thoughtful appreciation gifts, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week or year-end celebrations, offer a tangible way to express heartfelt gratitude.
